Magical and Wonderful Cusco and Machu Picchu: 5D/4N Itinerary

Day 2: Sacred Valley Exploration

- On the second day, we will pick you up from your hotel between 6:50 AM and 7:00 AM. Once our group is complete, we will begin our adventure.

- Our first stop is Chinchero, a picturesque village where you can admire agricultural terraces, the remnants of the royal estate of Tupac Yupanqui, and a beautiful colonial temple built on Incan foundations. Witness the entire process of wool production, from washing and spinning to creating exquisite textiles.

- Continuing on, we’ll reach Moray, where we will observe several natural depressions that served as experimental agricultural terraces.

- Next, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, where you can see the traditional salt extraction process that dates back to Inca times.

- We then proceed to the imposing Ollantaytambo Fortress, strategically built to guard this section of the valley against potential invasions from jungle dwellers.

- After concluding our explorations, we will return to the bus for a scenic ride to the town of Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits us.

Day 2 (continued): Sacred Valley Exploration

- After lunch, we will head to the charming town of Pisac, where we will explore the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built during the reign of Inca Pachacútec. This strategically located site atop a mountain offers breathtaking views of the entire valley that extends toward the Antisuyo region.

- At the conclusion of our tour, we will return to the city of Cusco, with an expected arrival time around 7:00 PM.

Day 3: Machu Picchu (Full Day)

- The journey to Machu Picchu begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel at 4:00 AM. We will transfer you to the **Inca Rail station** on Av. Sol for a departure at 6:10 AM, taking you to the Ollantaytambo Station, where you'll board a scenic train journey to the village of **Aguas Calientes**, arriving around 8:01 AM.

- Upon your arrival in Aguas Calientes, a transfer will be waiting for you at the train station to first take you for breakfast. Following this, we’ll head to the bus station for the ascent to Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes from Aguas Calientes to the breathtaking site of Machu Picchu.

- Your guided tour will commence at 9:00 AM and last between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours, during which your knowledgeable guide will explain the fascinating history of Machu Picchu as you explore its incredible sites.

- At the end of the guided experience, your guide will say farewell. You’ll then need to take the return bus back to Aguas Calientes at 12:00 PM, arriving at approximately 12:40 PM.

- Lunch is included at Restaurant Julián in Aguas Calientes.

- At approximately 2:30 PM, you will board the return train from Aguas Calientes to Cusco, arriving at the station on Avenida el Sol around 6:10 PM.

- Upon your arrival, a colleague will be waiting for you at the train station, holding a sign with your name, ready to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Machu Picchu Full Day Itinerary:

- 4:00 AM: Pickup from your hostel

- 8:01 AM: Arrival in Aguas Calientes

- 8:20 AM:Departure by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu

- 9:00 AM: Guided tour of Machu Picchu begins

- 12:00 PM: Departure from Machu Picchu by bus

- 1:00 PM: Lunch at Machu Picchu Restaurant (Julian)

- 2:30 PM: The Voyager train departs Aguas Calientes to Cusco Avenida el Sol

- 6:10 PM: Arrival at Cusco Avenida el Sol

- 6:20 PM: Arrival at your hotel

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain

- 4:45 AM: Pickup from your hotel

- We will collect you from your hotel and transfer you in a tourist vehicle to the restaurant.

- 7:00 AM: Arrival in Cusipata

- Here, we will enjoy breakfast before continuing our journey.

- 8:30 AM: Continue the journey to the starting point of the hike in the village of Fulawasi.

- After breakfast, we’ll drive to the point where we will commence our hike.

- 9:30 AM: Bus station and start of the hike from the village of Fulawasi.

From this point, and after prior coordination with the guide, we will begin our hike towards the mountain.

11:35 AM: Arrival at the Rainbow Mountain. At this time, we will approximately be at the Rainbow Mountain.

12:05 PM: Return to the bus station to head back to the town of Cusipata. After taking the classic photos, we will continue our journey, but this time returning.

1:15 PM: Board the bus and return to Cusipata for lunch. Once we arrive at the bus station, we will board the bus to head to our restaurant for lunch.

3:30 PM: Return to Cusco. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the city of Cusco.

5:00 PM: Arrival in Cusco. At this hour, we will be arriving in Cusco, and we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas.

All reservations will require a deposit, transfer, or direct payment at the office of 30%, with the remaining balance due 24 hours before the tour. Prices already include the new hotel tax. Legal VAT of 18% is not included in case an invoice is required.

- It is mandatory for the passenger to carry their passport or identity document with them.

- It is the passenger's responsibility to be ready at the indicated time; otherwise, they will lose their services without complaint or reimbursement.
