Day 1 | Arrival & The Rhythm of the Jungle
Gateway to Biodiversity: Your journey starts the moment you land in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s Capital of Biodiversity. We’ll welcome you with a city tour before heading to the docks.
River Expedition: Board our motorized boat and navigate the winding Madre de Dios River. Keep your eyes on the banks—this is the perfect time to spot capybaras, caimans, and a variety of exotic birds.
Welcome to the Lodge: Arrive at Ecoamazonia Lodge, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, and settle into your private bungalow.
Caiman Cocha Trek: Join our specialized guide for an interpretive walk to Caiman Cocha, a secluded lake teeming with Black and Spectacled Caimans.
Amazonian Sunset: End your day watching the jungle sky ignite in an explosion of intense, vibrant colors. Relax with dinner and cocktails at our lodge, featuring a fully-equipped bar and game room.
Day 2 | Lake Apu Victor & Monkey Sanctuary
Morning Serenade: Wake up to the symphony of the Amazon. A hearty, locally-sourced breakfast awaits to fuel your day of discovery.
The Majestic Apu Victor: Trek through the lush, primary forest, crossing bridges over winding streams. Reach the pristine waters of Lake Apu Victor, surrounded by towering trees and marshlands.
Panoramic Views: From our private observation deck, witness an incredible display of macaws, toucans, and—if fortune smiles upon us—the elusive and spectacular Giant River Otter.
Monkey Island Adventure: In the afternoon, we’ll visit a unique sanctuary in the heart of the river. Wander through exuberant flora and get up close with diverse monkey species, including spider monkeys, capuchins, and playful sloths.
Twilight in the Jungle: We’ll wrap up the day with an awe-inspiring jungle dusk before returning to the lodge for a delicious, tranquil dinner.
Day 3 | Farewell to Paradise
Final Morning: Savor a leisurely farewell breakfast, surrounded by the morning birdsong of the Amazon.
The Journey Home: We’ll guide you back to Puerto Maldonado, ensuring you carry the magic and memories of the jungle with you long after you’ve left.
