Day 1 | Into the Deep Green
The Journey Begins: We’ll pick you up in Puerto Maldonado—the world’s biodiversity capital—for a quick city glimpse before heading to the docks.
River Navigation: Board our motorized boat for a scenic trip down the Madre de Dios River. Keep your eyes peeled for capybaras, caimans, and river turtles basking on the banks.
Lodge Life: After a tropical welcome drink and a fresh local lunch at Ecoamazonia Lodge, it’s time to explore.
Caiman Encounter: Follow your guide through jungle trails to Caiman Cocha, a hidden lagoon where Black Caimans rule the waters.
Golden Hour: End your day with a breathtaking Amazonian sunset, followed by a gourmet dinner and cocktails at our jungle bar.
Day 2 | Ancient Lakes & Primate Paradise
Morning Chorus: Wake up to a symphony of tropical birds. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll trek deep into the primary forest, crossing bridges and winding trails.
The Majestic Apu Victor: Discover the crystal-clear waters of Lake Apu Victor. Climb our panoramic observation deck for a bird’s-eye view of macaws, toucans, and—if you’re lucky—the rare Giant River Otter.
onkey Island: After lunch, a 5-minute boat ride takes you to a unique sanctuary. Watch spider monkeys, capuchins, and squirrel monkeys play in their natural habitat.
Jungle Twilight: Another stunning sunset awaits before we head back for a cozy dinner.
Day 3 | The Lost Lagoon Expedition
The Virgin Forest: Today, we go deeper. Trek through untouched jungle to reach Lost Cocha (Cocha Perdida), a pristine ecosystem that serves as a sanctuary for jaguars, tapirs, and colorful tropical fish.
Canoe Safari: After taking in the views from the observation deck, we’ll glide through the lagoon in canoes to experience the silence and magic of the "Aguajales" (swamps).
Refuel: Return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch and a relaxing afternoon in paradise.
Day 4 | Farewell to the Amazon
One Last Sunrise: Enjoy a final breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.
Heading Home: We’ll navigate back to Puerto Maldonado with plenty of stories (and photos) to share, ensuring you make it to the airport in time for your flight.
