Day 1 | Arrival & The Call of the Wild
Welcome to Paradise: Your adventure begins the moment you land in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s Capital of Biodiversity. We’ll pick you up for a brief city tour before heading to the river.
River Navigation: Board our boat and set off on the Madre de Dios River. As we drift through this pristine wilderness, keep your binoculars ready—caimans, turtles, and exotic herons are just a glimpse away.
Check-in & Chill: After a refreshing welcome drink at Ecoamazonia Lodge, get settled in your bungalow.
Caiman Cocha Exploration: Wander along our interpretive trails to reach Caiman Cocha, a private lake teeming with Black and Spectacled Caimans.
Sunset Magic: Experience the Amazonian sky as it transforms into a canvas of intense, fiery colors. Cap off the evening with a gourmet dinner and drinks at our lodge bar.
Day 2 | The Lost Cocha & Primate Sanctuary
Morning Symphony: Awake to the vibrant song of the rainforest. Fuel up with a hearty breakfast—you'll need the energy!
Expedition to Lost Cocha: Trek deep into the virgin forest to reach the legendary Lost Cocha. This protected ecosystem is a sanctuary for jaguars, giant otters, tapirs, and endless birdlife.
The View from Above: Climb our panoramic observation deck for an eagle-eye view of the canopy, then experience the serenity of the "Aguajales" (swamps) with a private canoe ride.
Monkey Island Adventure: In the afternoon, we’ll visit a unique island home to countless monkey species—from frisky Capuchins to shy Sloths.
Jungle Dusk: Soak in the most dramatic sunset in the jungle before heading back to the lodge for a well-earned dinner.
Day 3 | Farewell to the Amazon
Final Sunrise: Enjoy one last breakfast surrounded by the soothing sounds of the Amazon—the perfect way to conclude your trip.
The Journey Back: After an unforgettable stay, we’ll navigate back to Puerto Maldonado, ensuring you reach the airport feeling refreshed and inspired by nature.
