Adventurous and Wonderful Cusco and Machu Picchu: 6 Days and 5 Nights

**Day 2: Sacred Valley**

• Pickup from your hotel between 6:50 AM and 7:00 AM. Once the group is complete, we will begin our journey.
• Our first visit will be **Chinchero**, a picturesque village where you can admire agricultural terraces, the remnants of the royal estate of Tupac Yupanqui, and the beautiful colonial church built on the foundations of an Inca structure. You will also witness the entire process of wool production, from washing and spinning to creating exquisite textiles.
• Continuing our route, we will arrive at **Moray**, where we will observe several natural depressions that served as agricultural experimentation terraces.
• Next, we will head to the **Maras Salt Mines**, where we will see the traditional salt extraction process that dates back to Inca times.
• Afterwards, we will proceed to the **Ollantaytambo Fortress**, built to guard this part of the valley and protect it from potential invasions by jungle dwellers.
• After concluding our visit and returning to the bus, we will head to the town of **Urubamba**, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch. Finally, we will travel to Ollantaytambo to board the train from the Ollantaytambo Station.

**Day 3: Machu Picchu Full Day**

• The Machu Picchu tour begins with a pickup from your hotel at 4:00 AM to take you to the Inca Rail station on Av. Sol. At 6:10 AM, we will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo Station, where you will board the tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes, arriving around 8:01 AM.
• Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, a transfer will be waiting at the train station to first take you for breakfast before heading to the bus station for the ascent to Machu Picchu. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
• Your guided tour of Machu Picchu begins at 9:00 AM and lasts between 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours, during which your guide will explain the history of Machu Picchu as you explore its many highlights.
• At the end of the tour, your guide will say farewell to you and the group. You will then need to take the return bus to Aguas Calientes at 12:00 PM, arriving at approximately 12:40 PM. Lunch is included at **Restaurant Julián** in Aguas Calientes.
• Finally, you will take the return train at 2:30 PM from Aguas Calientes to Cusco Avenida el Sol, arriving at approximately 6:10 PM.
• Upon your arrival, a companion will be waiting for you at the train station with a sign displaying your name, ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

**Day 4: Rainbow Mountain**

- **4:45 AM:** Pickup from your hotel.

- We will collect you from your hotel at the specified time and transfer you in a tourist vehicle to the restaurant.

- **7:00 AM:** Arrival in Cusipata.

- Here, we will enjoy breakfast before continuing our journey.

- **8:30 AM:** Continue the trip to the starting point of the hike in the village of **Fulawasi**.

- After breakfast, we’ll drive to the point where we will begin our hike.

- **9:30 AM:** Bus station and start the hike from the village of Fulawasi.

- From this point, and after prior coordination with the guide, we will begin the hike toward the mountain.

- **11:35 AM:** Arrival at the Rainbow Mountain. At this time, we will approximately be at the Rainbow Mountain.

- **12:05 PM:** Return to the bus station to head back to the town of Cusipata. After taking the classic photos, we will continue the journey, this time returning.

- **1:15 PM:** Board the bus and return to Cusipata for lunch. Once we arrive at the bus station, we will board the bus to head to our restaurant for lunch.

- **3:30 PM:** Return to Cusco. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the city of Cusco.

- **5:00 PM:** Arrival in Cusco. At that time, we will be arriving in Cusco, and we will drop you off near the Plaza

Day 4: Rainbow Mountain**

- **4:45 AM:** Pickup from your hotel.

We will collect you at the specified time from your hotel and transfer you in a tourist vehicle to the restaurant.

- **7:00 AM:** Arrival in Cusipata.

- **9:30 AM:** Bus station and start of the hike from the village of Fulawasi.

- **11:35 AM:** Arrival at the Rainbow Mountain.

- **12:05 PM:** Return to the bus station to go back to the town of Cusipata.

- **1:15 PM:** Board the bus and return to Cusipata for lunch.

- **3:30 PM:** Return to Cusco.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to the city of Cusco.

- **5:00 PM:** Arrival in Cusco.

At that time, we will arrive in Cusco, and we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas.

Here, we will enjoy breakfast before continuing our journey.

- **8:30 AM:** Continue the journey to the starting point of the hike.

- **Continue the journey until we reach the community of Soraypampa.**

- **9:00 AM:** Start the hike.

From this point, and after prior coordination with the guide, we will begin the trek toward the mountain.

- **11:35 AM:** Arrival at Humantay Lagoon.

At this time, we will approximately be arriving at Humantay Lagoon.

- **12:05 PM:** Return to the bus station to go back to Cusco.

After taking the classic photos, we will continue the journey, but this time returning to Soraypampa.

- **1:00 PM:** Board the bus and return to the town of Mollepata for lunch.

Once we arrive in Soraypampa, we will board the bus to head to our restaurant for lunch in the village of Mollepata.

- **2:30 PM:** Return to Cusco.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to the city of Cusco.

- We will travel for 40 minutes southwest until we reach **Tipón**, which is part of the Qapac Ñan route. Next, we will head to **Pikillaqta**, considered one of the most famous and best-preserved pre-Inca cities in Peru.

- We will conclude our tour in the town of **Andahuaylillas** and its **Sistine Chapel of America**, featuring impressive works of art.
