Tour Itinerary
1. The Taray Viewpoint and the Sacred Valley
The gateway to an Andean paradise: We begin our ascent toward a prime vantage point. From the Taray Viewpoint, you will behold a postcard-perfect vista that reveals the scale of the valley—carved by the Urubamba River—and the agricultural fields that have sustained the Andes for millennia.
2. The Pisac Archaeological Complex and Its Traditional Market
Astronomy and living tradition: Discover the impressive agricultural terraces, residential districts, and astronomical observatories of Pisac. Afterward, we will descend to the town to explore its iconic artisan market—a vibrant meeting place where locals showcase their silverware, textiles, and ancestral art.
3. Exclusive Lunch: Fine Dining in the Valley
A delight for the senses: We pause to enjoy a world-class culinary experience at one of our prestigious partner restaurants: El Maizal or Tunupa. Savor the best of Andean and contemporary cuisine in a sophisticated setting, surrounded by the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the valley. 4. The Fortress and Living Town of Ollantaytambo
The Incas’ defensive stronghold: We continue on to Ollantaytambo, the only living Inca town. Its original water channels, cobblestone streets, and the colossal terraces leading up to the Temple of the Sun represent the pinnacle of urban and military planning in the Tahuantinsuyo (the Inca Empire).
5. The Chinchero Archaeological Center
Textiles and ancestral memory: On our return journey, we will visit Chinchero. Here, local community members will demonstrate the traditional process of dyeing and weaving alpaca wool using natural dyes. It is an unparalleled cultural conclusion, set against the backdrop of a colonial church built atop Inca palaces.
