Culinary Adventure – Ceviche Route
Itinerary:
Pick-Up: Get ready for a delicious day! We’ll pick you up from your Miraflores hotel between 6:10 AM and 6:20 AM.
Next stop? Callao, Peru’s most important port! Our first destination is the vibrant Minka Market, where you can explore an amazing variety of seafood products like fish and shellfish that flavor the kitchens of Callao.
From there, we’ll head to the iconic Rovira Restaurant, the oldest gem in the port. You’re in for a treat as we savor their famous pan con pejerrey (bread with silverside fish)!
Next, it’s off to a popular street vendor known for her incredible ceviche. Get ready to try her local specialties: a mix of black clam ceviche and a surprise dish — it’ll be a culinary delight!
After tantalizing our taste buds, we’ll stop at Maricausa, a hotspot for causas! Here, we’ll indulge in two ocean-inspired causas, including one made with octopus and olives — can’t wait!
To wrap up this tasty journey, we’ll arrive at a local restaurant for a fun demonstration on how to prepare a traditional ceviche chalaco, paired with our national drink, the pisco sour!
1:00 PM: Time to hop back in our transportation and head back to your hotels.
